My Channing is Turning 6!

These are a few I snapped of her one evening for her 6th b-day invitation.  It is a tea party theme, and since she loves her babies, stuffed animals, and dressing up, this was actually fun for her... not just me!

I am dedicating this post to my best friend, Stacie.  We have been friends since college, where we were roommates and also worked together.  We hung out 2 days ago, had lunch and went over some camera stuff.  Since she is obsessed with both looking fabulous and taking millions of pictures everywhere she goes, it is only natural that she would want to learn to use a camera.   Anyway, as I was cleaning my lenses to get ready for a session that evening, and she was holding Maddox, I quickly snapped these to make sure everything was working properly.  Even though it wasn't planned and I had no light, I ended up loving them, and it inspired me to start doing more "real life" pictures.

Farmer's Market Finds!

Spent a day last week stocking up on fresh veggies.... then we cooked with them during the day and took some colorful pics that evening just before bed.  The kids had a blast shucking their corn!

My Maddox at 4 Months!

Can't believe I have a little girl turning 6 in 2 months, a little boy turning 3 in just a couple of days, and this last precious addition who just turned 4 months.  Seems like both an eternity ago, and just yesterday he was born.  He couldn't be more perfect, with his big, gummy smile and twinkly eyes!  I couldn't narrow these down much more... he is just so cute (but then again I am a little biased!)

My Baby Boy, and Upcoming Schedule Update

Although most of these are on my personal blog, I decided to share with my clients and photog. blog followers as well.  This is our newest addition, and we are all so in love with this little guy.  These pics are from his week one portraits (he was 4 weeks old 2 days ago!!  time flies!), and at the bottom I added a few of my favorites from the hospital.  

As far as my upcoming schedule/ plans.... I have gone back and forth on how I would like to move forward.  I have scheduled a few sessions for friends and family over the next few weeks, and I plan to start booking very limited sessions (probably only 1 or 2 sessions a week) beginning in April.  My availability will primarily be Thursday and Friday evenings, and weekend mornings and evenings when I am available.  I will be slightly revamping my packages and pricing as well, although I will do my best to remain competitive.  I look forward to hearing from my DFW friends, and hope to have the opportunity to work with you!
