Happy Mother's Day!!!

09 May, 2010

I told my husband that on Mother's Day weekend, I only wanted him to help me get a few pics of the kids....  really cool, random shots.  He didn't want to do it..... calls me the "picture Nazi", but he suffered through.  Anyway, it only took 10 minutes... so how bad could that be???  Thank you sweet hubby!

Great Idea for Father's Day/ Mother's Day

Even if I have already taken your portraits, I could put this together as a great last minute gift!!  These are 11X14 boards with anywhere between 4 and 5 images, and the background can be changed, and text can be added.  They come with small easels making them ready to display!  Check out my packages/ pricing at  www.tawnyhurstphotography.com.

Wide Awake... And PERFECT in Every Way!

03 May, 2010
I had high hopes for this family because of their sweet and beautiful cousin who referred me to them. Of course, I was not disappointed because being kind, thoughtful, and pretty must run in their family! Baby "C" was a DREAM!!!  We could not get him to sleep so we could pose him and put him in all of those awkward newborn baby positions, but what we got was wide eyed perfection!  Thank You God for awesome clients (and for the overcast lighting during my latest appointments... how great!)

Fun Morning with 3 Cuties!

Although I had photographed a couple of these children before, and they were WONDERFUL the first time around, I wasn't sure exactly how this session was going to go.... a brother and sister, and their 1- 1/2 year old cousin. Wasn't sure if what worked with one would necessarily work with another (because of age and gender difference), so I pulled out all the stops... planned it at a pretty park so there would be things to do, brought a big rubber ball that would match with their outifts, bubbles, lollipops, you get the picture! Turns out I didn't need any of that stuff and the pictures with nothing extra were the best. They were great, and Miss C created many of the poses that I ended up loving! She LOVES the camera!
