Mini- Sessions in Fredericksburg

I loved meeting my friends Allyson and Laurie and a couple of their friends in Fredericksburg to multi-task..... catching up and portraits at the same time!!! These brown eyed beauties are great models!

I meant to upload a few of these earlier, but kept getting caught up. This was probably the hardest I have laughed in a long time! Funny and pretty/ handsome (brother probably doesn't want to be called pretty)! Winning combination!

And The Winner Is....... Miss Taber!

This little girl stole the show...... she got over 200 votes in our first portrait contest! She is definitely a cutie!

Adorable Miss "T"

First of all, I was SCARED TO DEATH of this session (you should never show fear to child by the way!!!). But her mother had already told me that she has few pictures of this little cutie because getting photographed just isn't her favorite thing. I saw her at my daughter's school the day before the session and said "I can't wait to take pictures of you!!!! Are you going to smile???" And she giggled, said "NO....." and ran away. Yikes!!! I was in for it. Not that this was my first camera shy model... she is just soooo cute and I really wanted to capture everything I could for her mom. OH MY GOODNESS... I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to work fast, because I knew she was only going to give me so much, and she did a wonderful job! Thank you Little Miss T..... I can't wait until next time!

Beautiful Little "A"

I LOVE this little girl! I actually called her mom and practically forced her to enter her in our contest. she is just so adorable, and has that vintage look I was going for.

It just doesn't get any better than this for a photographer, 3 sweet, and obviously gorgeous kiddos!!! I love my time with them, and I love their mom just as much! It is always fun to spend time with them, and even more fun when I get to snap a few pictures! And Miss L has really learned to pose somewhere!!! Mom.... do you do that in the mirror??

Easter is just around the corner!

I got the pleasure of spending a few more minutes with these little cuties. During our last session, before we could get to their beautiful dresses, the girls were DONE, so we tried again! It was raining, so we had to settle for indoors, which was really better for the baby anyway. They did GREAT, and I am usually not crazy about newborn pictures in which the baby is clothed, but I am sorry.... this is PRECIOUS!

My contest favorites...

We should be sending out an e-mail anytime with our favorite portraits from our contest. It was hard to pick out the best portrait from each session... you can find something you really like about many of them, especially when the kids are this adorable! But for me, these had something original, and were a pretty close fit to what I want for the postcard, which is a really unique, vintage look. I am excited to see Juli's portraits as well.

Whew... it was a busy week, and I have one more session for our contest tomorrow night. Here are a few of my favorites so far.... but I am not posting the pictures I will be entering for our contest.... and am I still kind of debating anyway! I love the place we did these portraits.... and the kids seemed to enjoy being out there, too (which make it much easier to get a great picture!)
