He is 8 weeks, and such a good natured little thing! Of course, maybe not at 2am, but during the day... he is great! Sorry Mom!!! Sleep will come soon!!!! Love you Baby G!

Fun With Family!

One of the best parts of what I do is getting to photograph family. All of our little cousins have birthdays coming up, and I offered some pics as one of their gifts. My mother-in-law has a great house for this... lots of natural light inside, and great foliage outdoors. And of course the kids are CUTE, and baby girl is such a doll!

My Rainy Evening with Two Pretty Girls!

I feel so lucky to have gotten to spend time with these pretty girls! I couldn't ask for better models! And their mom was AWESOME at coming up with ideas and bringing props that meant something to them! I bet 80% of these were taken in the rain.... my camera survived!!!

Miss "P" Turns 2 months!

Baby "P" is already 2 months old!!! And she gets prettier every time I see her. The crazy thing is, she is still letting me curl her up in a little ball, and letting me stick her in the oddest places! I love it!

Back To Coughran with Miss "H"!

I was so excited to get a call from this little girl's grandmother, because I really do love 3 year olds! She has a fun personality, was cooperative, and we were able to move very quickly and get some awesome shots!!! They wanted wild flowers, but I just wanted to be able to offer more, so we headed out to my new favorite spot. This time, however, it was even better because of all the flowers... there was more to work with than just the buildings. She did crack me up because I would say "Okay.... I promise you can put on the pretty red dress if you'll just give me one little grin...." and she would just start immediately laughing so hard, and I would ask her mom and GM, "Is she faking it or is she serious??" I can always tell.... but with her.... I just couldn't. I have never met anyone who could so realistically turn it on at the drop of a hat! Such a little actress! But as always, I am just as crazy about the really natural shots, even if there is no big smile, especially with her big, gorgeous eyes!

My Time with the "G" Family

I received an e-mail from this mom after she had seen so many friends of hers on the website. That is great thing about a small town..... there are hardly any strangers! Funny thing was, after the session, I realized I had actually met Dad and the kiddos before! You know how you keep looking at someone thinking "I know you from somewhere...". Again, small town!!!! What a gorgeous family, and what pretty land they had to do this on! I also did some vintage effects on these, but I think my favorites are the natural versions because of the pretty colors and lighting. I am glad I got to help them document their current lives at a place that was special to them!

Miss "P" is back!

I'm so happy that her mom is bringing her in for her monthly portraits (this was actually for her 6 week pic), because is she cute or what???!!!! And the best baby... don't think I have heard her fuss yet!!! Got to try my new "cocoon" and hat out on her... loved the result!

Cute Little "L"

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this family! They are so laid back, so game for anything, and this little boy is adorable! He really doesn't have to do anything special.... just needs to sit there and look cute!
